Export regulations packaging wood
It’s about the appropriate construction.
Upon request, solid wooden boxes are lined with fabric-reinforced union paper to prevent dust and splash water from entering. This is standard for overseas cargo.
For overseas shipments, we recommend sealing the top of the packaging with a layer of foil as well as a 3mm Akylux board. This enables water, which penetrates the top, to be directed to the sides and counteracts the formation of water pockets.
